Good time to be down at the Grand throwing a line in the water. With the water we have been having. It’s bringn some nice fish up. Channel Catfish and BIG MUDS are starting to Slam down on some Live BAIT!!!

Got to try out my Pickled Chicken liver for Channel Cats. They fish it Down in the Ohio and Mississippi River down South. It don’t fall off the hook like regular liver does.

Small Mouth Bass fisherman!!! There is allot of smalleys in the river. Walk up and down the river and work the banks with about anything!!!! There is so many fish in there your crazy if you don’t at least go down there and try it out!!!!

Pike Fisherman try drifting Suckers or Gills under a float. Or Big Body baits!!! If your throwing big lures for um try leaving a live sucker dropped off the end of the boat for those followers.

Panfisherman!!!! There’s allot down at the river to be had. Try some leaf worms and wax worms. And don’t forget about the minnows!!! There Crushing Them.

This Big Mud was caught by Little Hank!!! He hits um just like the Big Boys do!!! Great Catch!!!

A buddy and I took out of Grand Rapids yesterday and never had no clue where we wanted to go. So we went north!!!! And we just drove with not a Lake in mind all we knew today we need to go fishing. I do this from time to time just for the since of adventure. If it looks good FISH IT!!! So we drove for about 45 min. and BAM there it was our lake!!! Never been there a day in my life but today we was going to fish it like we grew up on the lake. So we launched the boat and looked around. Look a island with about a 20 foot drop off ;c) Let’s try this spot first!!! We hit a few fish nothing to brag about. And then we desided to drift. We had a little wind going across the lake so i thought it was just about right to do some drift fishing. I put out a Gill Harness, a Small Jig with a leaf worm on it and then just had a small twister tail and ran um. And then went threw 50 foot water and then the wind started to pick up so that was a Bust.

Picked our rods up and headed towards a cove. Right then seen some nice gills and threw towards um and started to hit a few. And then they died down and then we jump to another spot about like where we just fished. Had some nice grass around with a smaller drop off and we started to hit a few more fish. Nice today is going to pan out after all. Kept fishing for a little bit longer at that spot and then it was time to move and see whats going on around the lake.

Then we see a Tube going under the road. Wow i bet my boat can go threw that. here we go off again. And that tube connects to another lake.

And now the new lake is out of the wind and looks real Gilly. Off the bat we start to hit some fish and just keep moving finding what worked in the other lake and just fished!!!

Then I started to get a little Hungry and made some sandwiches and took a little break. And back at it.

Seen a Boat that was sitting on a point for awhile and we seen um hitting fish so they left and we kept fishing for about 20 more min. And then it was time to go see why those guys where there for so long. Boated over there and put the Anchor down and started to hit some monster gills!!! Nice FISH ON!!! Pound for Pound those gills can fight.

So we started to move around that cove and filled are basket up with some nice eater gills.

If you want to go fishing sometime try just taking off with a buddy not having a clue where u want to go. It’s a good time!!!

The Steelhead are starting to back off a little bit. And with the Cold Front we have been having the Fishing has slowed down a little.
So we went and grabbed a box of 22 shells and went shooting. Good Sport to get your kids into!!! This is Alyssa Shooting a full Pop!!
