ByWe are starting to get some better weather now!!! And we have so much good fishing going on right now!!!!! First off The Grand River!!!! In the Weekly Report I do for the DNR You will Find That there is Still Steely’s down in the River!!!! And I heard Yesterday Someone Hooked 3 sturgon at the Dam Yesterday!!!
Walleye Fisherman!!!! Slow Rollin a crawler right now up and down the river!!! Throw on a #6 Bait Holder Hook and a split shot about a foot above that and just drift the runs. And you would be amazed at what you catch down there!!!! Fishing for Specs? try the pocket waters of the river with a FatHead Minnow about 3 foot down with no weight on it. Just use a weighted Float. Gills use wax worms and Leaf Worms!!!!
PIKE Fisherman!!!! Floating the SUCK SUCK SUCK SUCKERS ABOUT 3 FOOT DOWN!!!!!!!! Big Spinners are a good Ticket there.
Catfisherman!!!! Channel Cats are Heating Up the River!!!! CUT BAIT use some cut up suckers or Gills to make um hit your line!!
Reeds Lake Fisherman!! Specs, Perch, Gills, and Pike. Hit um hard you’ll get um!!! Bass Fisherman!!! Get out there and scout for the up coming tourneys that will be on the Lake.
