CRAVIN CHROME CLASSIC 2010 MARCH 13th 2010
ByWMU Fishing Club is proud to announce the first annual Cravin’ Chrome Winter Classic, co-hosted by WMU and Shag’s TBN Outfitters!!!
The buzz is already going strong in the Grand Rapids area, and many club members are already on board. This tournament is open to ALL interested steelheaders. “Shag” Trent, owner of TBN Outfitters, is currently working with the club to promote this event, which will be held on the last Saturday in February. We are expecting a great outcome for this event!
The event rules and results are as follows:
-Teams of two fisherman/ fish individually
-$40 per team of 2
-Fisherman may fish the Grand River and any of its tributaries
-Fishing starts at 6:00 a.m. and the deadline for weigh-in will be 5:30 p.m. ; weigh-in will be held at TBN outfitters.
-The most INCHES from the top three fish from the TEAM will be entered as final catch.
-Cash prizes based on entry will be distributed as a purse, places one through 5 will recieve purse money, sixth place through tenth place will get their entry money back
-The Club take from the purse will be determined by entry; 25% is the current estimation
-Steelhead only tournament!!!
Entry fees will cover food after the tournament, as well as tournament inclusion. This is going to be a heck of a tournament, a great time, and will contribute to helping the local economy
You may pre-register for this tournament as well as the spring tournament by going to the club website: wmufishingteam.com. there will be a link for pre-registration by cc. this will help to make payments easier for interested fisherman, as well as helping the club put on better events. Look for this link in the coming days; we will be setting this up starting tomorrow, and I will post the link here as well as on tss and Shag’s website, fliesandtackle.com, as soon as it is finished.
