Fall Steelhead going strong
Posted by: | CommentsWith the rain we had last week. It has really pushed allot of fish up. Allot of guys are fishing the post office wall and a few holes down river floating white jigs tipped with waxy’s.

Posted by: | CommentsThere is allot of great fishing around Grand Rapids right now. With the Lake turning over last week. It has brought some great fishing at the 6th Dam. Scams are gettting caught. And nice wave of Browns have came in as well use Crawlers, Flies, Minnows and Body Baits to land um.
And don’t forget about the walleye that are stocked in the Grand. Us some smaller body bait. Or bounce some crawlers on the bottom.
Want to catch some Catfish. The East side wall has been producing some huge ones. Use some Fresh Cut Bait, Suckers, Gills or some Crawlers. And dont forget about the soft Shell Crabs.
Gills as well as Specs having been getting caught on leaf worms, wax worms and spec minnows.

Posted by: | CommentsThe water is high right now but that is not stopping the fish from coming up river. Fish bigger weights to get down there and about 4 to 8 foot leader with some yarn or spawn sacks. Few guys are using Floats but most fish have been taking by dead drifting flies and yarn.

Posted by: | CommentsTop Side of the Dam has been Froze over and the river is fishing great. Steelhead are hittn jigs and waxys. And a few guys are using tear drops tipped with wax worms. There are so people getting them on spawn. But jigs and wax worms have been out fishing um. Try dead drifting some wobble glows. Peach cobbler is the ticket on them. Hurley a cannon ball and a Fly are picking up as well.
