Fall Steelhead going strong
Posted by: | CommentsWith the rain we had last week. It has really pushed allot of fish up. Allot of guys are fishing the post office wall and a few holes down river floating white jigs tipped with waxy’s.

Posted by: | CommentsAllot of Salmon have moved in to the Grand River this last week. We was not seeing to many but NOW the Beds are everywhere below the Dam. And if you like the Steely’s there everywhere. And did you know that there hasnt been one day this year that someone has not landed a Steely in the River THIS YEAR!!!! GET OFF THE COUCH AND FISH!!!!

Posted by: | CommentsThe last few days the water has stayed about the same level. Even though its higher than hell. The water has about 2 foot visibality. We started out using choker bags. Chart. with grape skein. Took a few cast then i had a fish on. It was a nice chrome steely. Third cast after that i hit another one but this time when i set the hook it came straight at me like a rocket and there was to much slack on the fish and i lost it. The next drift after i put a new bag on BAMMMM I had one hit so hard the float went over a foot before i set the hook. But then one of my buddies tryed to dip net it and hit it in the head and then that came off. We fished our spot for another 2 hours and hit fish, if not every drift every other. Both east and west where hitting fish. then moved around and then we moved and we hitt a few fish every where we moved to. Still allot of fish in the river. there was only 2 boats in the water.

I went out today about 11 o’clock and it was windy as shit. But i still hooked into allot of fish. I used big choker and the steelies where rolling every where. Both east and west side where hitting fish. I was the only boat in the River. No one else was around!!!. I was 34 for 15 today. Water temp still holding around 45 degrees
